The Next Generation Event Corp is dedicated to fostering a new generation of athletes through the organization of premier sporting events like the New York Next Gen Invitational Relay.

By creating inclusive, competitive platforms, the organization seeks to promote lifelong athleticism, healthy lifestyles, and community connection.

The goal is to inspire and celebrate the dedication, perseverance, and team spirit of athletes from all walks of life.

Shawn Falconer is a business owner, entrepreneur, and dedicated community advocate. He owns Cheapo Tax Services and founded Jam Down LLC and Next-Generation Event Corp. A proud graduate of Jamaica College and Lehman College with a degree in Business Administration, Shawn is committed to youth development and sports. As a family man and active volunteer, he organizes events to highlight young talent and engages alumni networks to support youth initiatives. Additionally, he is a licensed soccer coach and passionate track and field enthusiast, reflecting his dedication to nurturing future generations through sports.

Carl Bennett is the Chief Financial Officer at BNY Finance, bringing extensive expertise in econometrics and quantitative economics. A graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, as well as the University of Albany in Economics, Carl’s academic foundation supports his strategic leadership. A proud Jamaican, he remains deeply connected to his roots and serves as the immediate past president and advisory board member of his high school alumni association. Outside of his professional life, Carl is committed to giving back, volunteering with the New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc. in animal welfare. A family man, Carl balances his career with a passion for service and community.

Aubrey Campbell is a seasoned professional in sports management and journalism with expertise gained since 1980 in both Jamaica and the USA. He founded the Montego Bay Comets Athletics Club in 1977, showcasing his dedication to youth development through sports. Recognized for insightful commentary on societal issues and sports dynamics, Aubrey effectively engages diverse audiences. His proficiency in leveraging social media amplifies discussions on athletic performance and social justice. Passionate about cultural heritage, he fosters community connections and a sense of belonging among young athletes and their communities through his advocacy efforts.

Director of Legal and Policy

Dwight Geddes is the founder of Metro Claims & Risk Management and The Geddes Management Group in Floral Park, NY. A former track athlete at Jamaica College, he excelled in the 4x100 meter relay and 100 meters. With over 25 years in the insurance industry, he has published works on fraud and risk management, and taught professionals nationwide. Dwight has managed claims for major disasters like Hurricanes Ike and Sandy. He is a certified mediator, insurance expert witness, FINRA arbitrator, Co-Dean of the CLM Claims College, and a board member of the National African American Insurance Association.
